Julien Hinz

Julien graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Government and has gained experience in Private Equity at The Riverside Company as well as Solera Capital.

As a Summer Analyst at Riverside, Julien supported deal work for portfolio companies by conducting financial analysis—including managing dynamic, linked three statement models, LBO models, and cash flow forecasts—and due diligence to estimate growth projections. He also conducted comprehensive industry and competitive landscape research to construct deal summaries and investment memos. As a Summer Analyst at Solera Capital, Julien conducted diligence as well as financial and operational analysis for the firm’s portfolio companies. Moreover, he had autonomy to independently source potential investments and interfaced with founders, CEOs, and upper-level management of Solera’s portfolio companies and target investments.

Outside of his professional experiences, Julien was previously a competitive middle-distance runner for 10+ years, having competed as a member of Dartmouth’s Division I Track and Field and Cross Country teams.
