Brian Orgnero

As the Vice President of Finance and Operations of Band Venture Partners, Brian brings over 25 years of experience in senior and executive financial roles across multiple industries, including oilfield services, construction, and most recently as the Director of Strategic Planning and Risk Management with Coril Holdings, a privately-owned and controlled diversified investment company.

One of the key architects of Coril’s digital strategy, Brian’s recognition that he needed to ‘reinvent’ himself, combined with a growing interest in how technology can transform organizations and communities, led him to corporate venture investing.

A proactive strategic thinker and partner who is comfortable shifting between big picture and hands-on tactical execution, he excels at bringing structure to ambiguous and complex situations when executing on new ideas, concepts, and projects and is well positioned to share his confidence, passion, and versatility as Band looks to create and sustain shared prosperity through transformational corporate venture investments.

Brian holds a Chartered Professional Accountants designation and a bachelor’s degree (BComm) from the University of Calgary.
